One kitchen, one plan.
Parimaan is the shared meal planner and pantry for Indian households. Plan the week together, see what's already in the kitchen, and shop only for what's missing.
The beta runs on Android and iPhone. Free to try.
How it works
From Sunday plan to Monday shopping, in four steps.
-
Set up your kitchen
Tell Parimaan which meals you plan, your cuisine and dietary preferences. Invite family with a short code.
-
Plan the week
Tap a slot and pick a recipe, or auto-fill the week from the dishes you actually rotate.
-
Get the list
Ingredients are added up, your pantry is subtracted, and what's left is grouped by aisle.
-
Cook and update
Mark meals made and items bought. The pantry stays honest without anyone retyping it.
What's inside
Built for how an Indian kitchen really runs.
-
A kitchen everyone shares
Pantry, plan and shopping list stay in sync across every phone in the household. No "who has the list?" messages.
-
A week plan that respects your meals
Choose which meals you plan and how many sabzis, dals and rotis each one needs. Add with a tap; never drag.
-
Photograph a shelf, update the pantry
Snap your dal shelf and Parimaan proposes the items and quantities. You review and confirm; nothing is saved until you do.
-
Cook from what you have
Ask for ideas and get up to three suggestions grounded in your actual pantry, with what you have and what's missing marked clearly.
-
North and South Indian recipes on day one
Every new household starts with a curated library of 53 recipes. Add your own by typing, pasting a note, or importing from a link.
-
A shopping list that does the sums
Planned ingredients minus what's in the pantry, with everyday staples left out. Share it as a clean image to WhatsApp, Blinkit or Swiggy.
AI, swaad anusaar.
In a recipe, swaad anusaar means "to taste": add what the dish needs, then stop. That is how Parimaan uses AI.
- Generous where typing is tedious. Reading a shelf photo, turning a pasted note into a recipe, suggesting dinner from what's already in the pantry.
- Never in charge. It proposes and you confirm. Nothing reaches your pantry or recipe book without your yes, and shelf photos are deleted as soon as they've been read.
- Not everywhere. Your week plan and shopping list are worked out by plain rules and arithmetic, not guessed by a model.
India-native
Modelled on your kitchen, not translated from someone else's.
Dals, sabzis, rotis and chutneys are first-class, and so are the way households actually eat: vegetarian, Jain, eggetarian and everything in between.
